Amature Radio

I've recently become heavily involved in Amature Radio (HAM). On this page you will find information I've accumulated and links to groups I work with. HAM Radio is an excellent way to becomve involved in your community. If youre area is anything like mine, then your local HAM Radio clubs and ARES groups work very closely with your local public service organizations.

UCARES is the Utah County Amature Radio Emergency Service. It is part of the National ARES organization which is one of the primary organizations of the National Citizen Corps that was organized in 2003 when President Bush issued his call for Citizen Volunteers.
